2020 was a very busy (and crazy) year for our Ascension Parish Franchise. We responded in full force to assist our community with COVID-19 response. In the last several months of 2020, several named storms: Hurricane Laura in the and Hurricane Sally kept our staff busy assisting with the cleanup along the Gulf Coast.

SERVPRO of Ascension Parish responded by assisting several large high schools, vacation condo facilities, businesses and more in the time after these storms. Our storm travel team was on the road assisting with mitigation and rebuild of these facilities for several months.

Being on the ground immediately following a storm allows SERVPRO of Ascension Parish to quickly gauge damage, prevent further damage by securing facilities, provide temporary power, begin the drying out process, and removing any debris on site. Once mitigation is completed, we can begin the rebuild process.

We worked hand in hand with insurance companies, adjusters, consultants and the clients to accomplish one goal: opening each businesses as soon as possible. 

A special "Thanks" goes out to our SERVPRO of Ascension Parish family for their commitment and dedication to assisting those in need after a storm. This includes our production crews who have spent a month or more away from families, our office staff who are working overtime to support our storm team and ownership who is making sure we are prepared to get the job done. 

The 2021 Hurricane Season is not to far off, beginning in June. We will be ready to respond if any community needs our assistance again.
